Release of the Kaspersky® Anti-Virus Cumulative Update

Kaspersky Lab announces the regularly scheduled release of the Kaspersky® Anti-Virus cumulative database update.
The update includes an array of new functions and improvements:
- Object scanning optimization for improved performance
- Additional functionality for checking files compressed with Krypton (v 0.5), Crypt.Bom, UPX (v 1.90), PEncrypt (v 4.0p), Shrinker (v 3.3, 3.4) and FSG (v 1.31) utilities
- Improved procedures for checking files compressed with the utilities Xlok and PE_Patch
- Corrections to the anti-virus kernel discovered since the previous cumulative update
Please note that cumulative updates include all previous cumulative releases, weekly and daily updates.
All registered Kaspersky Anti-Virus users can, free of charge, load the cumulative update manually
or with the help of the software's built-in updater.
