  • Kaspersky Anti-Virus
    Updates to the antivirus databases are rolled out to Kaspersky Hosted Security Services as soon as they are released. Special updates are issued when new malicious programs are detected. Pre-Scan and BitHunt technologies ensure effective protection even before updates are released and detect up to 100% of all email-borne malware.
  • Filtration by format
    Customers can create policies to block predetermined types of attachments, including potentially harmful objects, thus reducing the risk of infected objects penetrating corporate networks.
  • Pre-scan service
    Detects known malicious programs for which antivirus updates have not yet been released.
  • AllUnpack
    Up to 95 percent of all malware can be packed in a variety of ways to prevent even known malicious programs from being detected.   • Kaspersky BitHunt
    This proactive threat detection system was developed exclusively to tackle email-specific threats. It makes use of a closed system that’s inaccessible to both users and cybercriminals, ensuring that virus writers cannot test whether their latest piece of malware can be detected by BitHunt. Any detected threats are added to the integrated heuristic analyzer and other threat detection systems used in Kaspersky Hosted Email Security.
  • Lists

  • Signatures

Normally, the type of attachment is defined based on its internal file structure, name and extension.
