We open the 130th edition of the Kaspersky Transatlantic Cable<\/em> podcast<\/a> looking at a favorite topic of discussion: Facebook. It\u2019s not the typical security-related incident you might expect; instead, we start with the company\u2019s statements seeking regulation from governments.<\/p>\n

Yes, friends, you read that right. Mark Zuckerberg is asking for governments to implement regulations on fake news, disinformation, or just bending of the truth.<\/p>\n

After Facebook, we head to the dark web, where it appears that attackers are reusing Black Energy<\/a>\u2018s code. From there, we jump to a cyberattack on Boston\u2019s Children\u2019s Hospital that is disrupting patient flow. Then, we take a break from our regular programming to speak with Anton Shipulin about the upcoming Kaspersky Industrial Cybersecurity conference in Sochi.<\/p>\n

Returning to form, we chat about a story that hits close to home for me: Boston Children\u2019s Hospital is currently working through a cyberattack that has disrupted the hospital\u2019s service to patients.<\/p>\n\n

Our fourth story focuses on Redcar and Cleveland Borough. The English municipality appears to be facing a ransomware attack. To close things out, we look at Netflix and the recurring topic of password stuffing and account takeovers.<\/p>\n
